On March 21, 2021, at approximately 6:14 p.m., 29-year-old Montrell Fredrickgus Holloway was fatally shot in a residence located at 1635 Alameda Avenue in Birmingham, Alabama. Responding officers from the West Precinct discovered Holloway in a hallway with a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene by Birmingham Fire and Rescue.
