On June 9, 2021, at approximately 2:25 p.m., the Mobile Police Department responded to a report of a male down at the South of Dauphin Apartments in Mobile, Alabama. Upon arrival, officers discovered 21-year-old Laquintae Carroll inside his apartment with apparent gunshot wounds. Carroll was pronounced dead at the scene.
