On January 6, 2021, a fatal shooting occurred in Mobile, Alabama, resulting in the deaths of 25-year-old Camdon Jackson and 26-year-old Van Kennedy. The incident took place near the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and St. Stephens Road. According to reports, two vehicles were traveling along MLK Jr. Avenue when occupants exchanged gunfire.
