In the early evening of January 6, 2021, a burst of gunfire at the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and Craft Highway in the Tolmanville area of Mobile, Alabama, forever altered the lives of two families. When the chaos subsided, 25-year-old Camdon Jackson, a male, and his companion, Van Kennedy, were found shot inside a vehicle. Both men succumbed to their injuries, their deaths marking another grim entry in the city's register of gun violence.
