On April 29, 2021, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Mobile Police Department officers responded to a shooting incident in the 500 block of Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 50-year-old Michael Cannon with apparent gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
