On December 27, 2021, at approximately 8:08 p.m., Mobile Police officers responded to a shooting at the Clark Gas Station located at 3606 Moffett Road in Mobile, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 18-year-old Johntreal Markelen Lewis had been fatally shot. Three other individuals—a second 18-year-old male and two 17-year-old males—were also found with gunshot wounds. Two of these victims sustained life-threatening injuries, while the third suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
