Kenneth Cedrick Gilchrist, a 31-year-old man from Mobile, Alabama, died on October 11, 2021, following a violent incident at the William Donaldson Correctional Facility in Bessemer. Gilchrist was serving a 25-year sentence for a burglary conviction from 2012.
