On a tragic Saturday afternoon in the Birmingham area, a transaction arranged online turned deadly, claiming the life of 35-year-old Christopher James Jones. The male victim had traveled to Midfield on October 9, 2021, with the intention of selling a lawnmower, a meeting that ended in a fatal shooting.
