In November 2021, two-year-old Khylan Orland Clinton-Martin from Mobile, Alabama, tragically died after accidentally shooting himself in the head with a handgun. The incident occurred on November 13, 2021, at a residence on Alba Street, where the toddler found the firearm while unattended. He was immediately transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and succumbed to them on December 5, 2021.
