On November 12, 2021, 33-year-old Domonique Louvert Giles was fatally shot in Bessemer, Alabama. The incident occurred around 3:09 p.m. on the 800 block of 32nd Street North, where witnesses reported an exchange of gunfire between individuals. Upon arrival, officers discovered Giles suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
