On a late Thursday evening in Sylacauga, Alabama, the life of 22-year-old Azekiel Javon Borden was tragically cut short. On July 28, 2022, deputies from the Talladega County Sheriff's Office were called to the 400 block of Pine Grove Road around 10:30 p.m., where they found Borden suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Nearby, another 22-year-old male from Sylacauga was also discovered with a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to UAB Hospital to ...
