Death by Force

On the evening of September 1, 2022, 48-year-old Jeremy Alexander Morse of Decatur, Alabama, was fatally shot at the Quail Creek Resort campground near Hartselle. Deputies from the Morgan County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting call at approximately 7:20 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Morse in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds.
