In the small community of Hartselle, Alabama, the life of 35-year-old Jeremy Trent Lorance, a Caucasian male, was cut short on a January day in 2014. He was fatally shot at his home in what would be described as a dispute between neighbors. His death on January 14th of that year prompted a swift investigation by local law enforcement.
