In the late evening of a spring day in Washington, D.C., a man's life was tragically cut short. On Thursday, April 24, 2014, at approximately 10:38 pm, police responded to a call in the 900 block of Barnaby Street, SE. There, they found a male, Ernest Edsel Harkum, suffering from stab wounds.
