On April 24, 2014, Ernest Edsel Harkum, age 44, was found suffering from multiple stab wounds in the 900 block of Barnaby Street, SE, Washington, D.C., at approximately 10:38 p.m. Despite the swift response from authorities, Harkum succumbed to his injuries on the scene. This tragic incident was investigated by the Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide Branch, which continues to seek assistance from the public in gathering information that could lead to solving the case.
