On February 22, 2023, in Daphne, Alabama, 27-year-old Jeremy Smith was tragically killed in a quadruple homicide that also claimed the lives of his grandparents, Barbara Smith, 72, and Leonard Smith, 80, as well as a family friend, Sheila Glover, 71. The suspect, Jeremy's brother, 21-year-old Jared Tarant Smith-Bracy, was arrested and charged with four counts of capital murder.
