J Matthews Bonnell Jr., a 38-year-old man, was fatally shot in Daphne, Alabama, on Easter morning, March 31, 2024. The incident occurred shortly before 2:30 a.m. at the Audubon Park Apartments. Bonnell, a resident of Baldwin County, was visiting a resident at the apartment complex with 23-year-old Joseph Gurley and a woman.
