On the evening of February 25, 2023, at approximately 10:45 PM, Montgomery police and fire medics responded to a shooting in the area of Collinwood Drive and West Woodland Drive in Montgomery, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 25-year-old Kiyunte Townsend suffering from gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
