On April 24, 2023, at approximately 1:22 p.m., Mobile Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 70 block of LeFevre Street in Mobile, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 24-year-old Phillip Anthony Glover Jr. deceased at the scene.

Following an investigation, authorities identified 20-year-old Jordan Miller as the suspect in the shooting. On April 28, 2023, Miller surrendered himself at Mobile Metro Jail.
