On the night of May 26, 2023, in Skyline, Alabama, 61-year-old Terry Wayne Warren was fatally shot in his home. Deputies from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about shots fired on County Road 17 around 11:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Warren suffering from gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
