On September 15, 2023, the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting at a residence in the Bon Secour community of Alabama. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 30-year-old Alemcy Saint Louis deceased in the living room, having suffered two gunshot wounds. The investigation quickly identified 25-year-old Tahjaneka Christina Armstrong, an acquaintance of the victim, as a suspect in the homicide.
