In the early hours of a summer morning, the life of 7-year-old Jeremiah Khari Moore was tragically cut short in East Chicago, Indiana. On July 12, 2022, Jeremiah was asleep in his car seat in the back of his family's van as they returned home from visiting relatives in Chicago. Near the intersection of Guthrie and Main streets, just blocks from their house, their vehicle was ambushed by gunfire.
