In the early hours of a September morning, the quiet of a Sheffield, Alabama neighborhood was broken by a discovery that would soon unfold into a story of sudden violence and a search for justice. Thomas James Hairrell, a 64-year-old male, was found deceased near the front door of his residence on West Montgomery Avenue on September 26, 2023.
