Michael Sherman, an 18-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on the evening of June 18, 2021, in Monroe, Louisiana. Sherman, who had recently graduated and was the starting quarterback for the Richwood Rams, was an integral part of the 2017 championship team. His death occurred around 9 P.M. on Wilton Drive, where he was shot multiple times, including twice in the abdomen.
