On April 10, 2022, at approximately 1 a.m., a shooting occurred at Jokers Restaurant in Sheffield, Alabama, resulting in the death of 29-year-old Mark Anthony Harris from Leighton, Alabama. Following the incident, Sheffield Police Chief Ricky Terry confirmed Harris's identity and announced that the investigation was in its early stages.
