In the early morning hours of October 22, 2020, the life of 36-year-old Phil Hernandez was tragically cut short in a burst of violence at a Colorado Springs apartment complex. A male resident of the city, Hernandez was found deceased with a gunshot wound when police responded to reports of a shooting on East Hills Road. The incident, which unfolded around 5:20 a.m., also left two other individuals wounded and in need of hospital care.
