On January 4, 2024, at approximately 2:55 p.m., Montgomery police and fire medics responded to a shooting incident in the 6800 block of Eastchase Parkway. Upon arrival, they discovered 21-year-old Larry Wright Jr. of Montgomery, Alabama, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
