In Dothan, Alabama, the community was shaken by the death of 56-year-old Samuel Heath Robinson, a local businessman, on May 22, 2024. Robinson, a lifelong resident of Dothan and the owner of Dixie Fence Company, was discovered deceased at his place of business. His death, which the Houston County District Attorney's Office later confirmed, was the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
