In the early evening of June 2, 2024, a verbal dispute in Anniston, Alabama, escalated into a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 50-year-old Dalriko Blake. Officers from the Anniston Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of Palmetto Avenue following reports of a possible shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Blake inside the home, suffering from a gunshot wound.
