On August 21, 2024, 16-year-old Au'Terrious "Bug" Walter of Selma, Alabama, was critically injured in a drive-by shooting. He was airlifted to UAB Hospital in Birmingham, where he remained in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, Au'Terrious succumbed to his injuries on August 23, 2024.

Au'Terrious was a sophomore at Selma High School, remembered by Superintendent Dr. Zickeyous Byrd as a great student with a bright future ahead. His teachers and friends described him as full of e ...Read More
