In the late afternoon of August 29, 2024, in Decatur, Alabama, 50-year-old Yvette Stover Fuller was found inside a vehicle near a Big Lots store on 6th Avenue, having been shot. Emergency services were called to the scene, where Fuller was pronounced dead. A man who was with her in the car had also sustained gunshot wounds and was transported to Huntsville Hospital for medical attention.
