Sindy Michelle Masny, age 56, a female from Decatur, Alabama, was found dead on the night of June 23, 2025, after police and firefighters responded around 8:48 p.m. to a welfare check at a home in the 2900 block of Lynnwood Circle SW. First responders saw a man facedown through a window; upon entry they discovered both a man and a woman unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds.
