On June 27, 2015, Kevin Cortez Johnson, aged 23, was found suffering from gunshot wounds on the 1200 block of Raum Street, NE, Washington, D.C. The shooting took place shortly before midnight, and Johnson was transported to a local hospital, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
