On October 26, 2024, a tragic shooting occurred in Union Springs, Alabama, resulting in the deaths of two 19-year-olds: Adrian Tarver from Auburn and David Benton from Union Springs. The incident took place around 3 a.m. in the 300 block of Waugh Street. Adrian was pronounced dead at the scene, while David succumbed to his injuries at Bullock County Hospital.
