On October 26, 2024, a tragic shooting occurred in Union Springs, Alabama, resulting in the deaths of two 19-year-olds: Adrian Tarver from Auburn and David Benton from Union Springs. The incident took place around 3 a.m. in the 300 block of Waugh Street. Adrian was pronounced dead at the scene, while David succumbed to his injuries at Bullock County Hospital. Additionally, three other individuals sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
