Kentrell Ladon Batie, a 33-year-old man from Union Springs, Alabama, was fatally shot on June 12, 2021, in what authorities later confirmed as a homicide. The shooting took place in the early morning hours outside of a residence in Union Springs, a small town in Bullock County.
