In the early hours of May 4, 2024, what should have been a time of celebration turned into a tragedy for 18-year-old Delvin Tarver. A senior at Auburn High School with his whole life ahead of him, Tarver was just weeks away from his graduation. He found himself in the parking lot of a CVS on Baskin Street in Union Springs, Alabama, a gathering spot for attendees of the local high school's prom, though he was not a student there.
