On the night of November 9, 2024, at approximately 11:02 p.m., Montgomery Police Department officers and Fire Medics responded to a report of a shooting in the 2900 block of Birmingham Highway. Upon arrival, they discovered 28-year-old Lee Brown suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
