Murdered

On January 5, 2016, Sheldon Scott Gordy, aged 55, was found unconscious in an apartment located in the 1300 block of Nicholson Street, NW, Washington, D.C. The Metropolitan Police Department was alerted around 6:10 pm, and Gordy was subsequently taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) for an autopsy. On March 31, 2016, the OCME ruled that the cause of death was blunt force trauma, and the case was officially classified as a homicide.
