In the early evening of January 5, 2016, a grim discovery was made in a Northwest Washington, D.C. apartment. Sheldon Scott Gordy, a 55-year-old male resident of the city, was found unconscious and unresponsive inside a residence on the 1300 block of Nicholson Street.
