In the spring of 2016, a young man’s life was cut tragically short on a Tuesday night in Washington, D.C. Jaquan Lamont Haney, a 22-year-old male, was in the 4000 block of Wheeler Road, SE, on the evening of May 10th when the sound of gunshots pierced the air. When police responded to the scene at approximately 10:15 p.m., they discovered Haney suffering from gunshot wounds.
