In the late hours of a summer night in Washington, D.C., the lives of two men were tragically cut short by gunfire. Raeshard Blue, a 40-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on August 27, 2016. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the River Terrace neighborhood of Northeast Washington.
