Louis Adam Danhi, a 38-year-old man from Massachusetts, was last seen in Stanislaus County, California, in June 2013. Danhi, who frequently traveled to the San Francisco Bay Area for business, had flown to California for work. The last known contact with Danhi was a phone call to his girlfriend on June 20, 2013, in which he stated he was with a friend whom he intended to drop off before heading to San Francisco International Airport for a flight. However, Danhi never boarded his flight and has not been seen or heard from since.

Two days after his last contact, on June 22, 2013, Danhi's rental car was found abandoned in an unincorporated area near Livermore, California. The location of the vehicle was about an hour's drive from Stanislaus County and situated halfway between there and the San Francisco airport where he was supposedly headed. The discovery of the car did not yield any immediate clues as to his whereabouts. His family was unaware of who he was meeting with during his business trip.

Further investigation into Danhi's disappearance revealed his involvement in the marijuana business. In 2004, he was arrested for attempting to ship a significant quantity of marijuana from California to the east coast. At the time of his disappearance in 2013, he was still reportedly involved in the marijuana industry. In 2019, with no leads or contact, Danhi's family filed a petition to have him declared legally deceased.

Information that has surfaced since his disappearance suggests a possible connection to individuals involved in the marijuana trade. His father's investigation led him to a man identified as "T.B.," who had business dealings with Danhi and allegedly introduced him to members of a marijuana cartel. When questioned, T.B. denied any involvement in Danhi's disappearance and claimed Danhi had been arrested, a claim that was later proven false. The case remains unsolved and is being handled by the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department.
