White/Caucasian male Michael Irby Pinkston, 60, died in the early hours of December 8, 2015, after a shooting inside an apartment on the 3200 block of East 41st Avenue in Anchorage. Officers arrived just before 2 a.m. to find the 60-year-old with a single gunshot wound to the abdomen; he was rushed to a local hospital and pronounced dead about a half-hour later.
