On October 12, 2020, 35-year-old Anchorage resident Devin Moorhouse was fatally shot during a road rage incident in Willow, Alaska. The confrontation began when Moorhouse and a juvenile passenger were performing "doughnuts" in a gravel pit, inadvertently colliding with a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Palmer resident Gavin Christiansen.
