On May 19, 2017, Troy Souder was shot in the 100 block of Irvington Street SW, Washington, D.C., around 10:58 p.m. Members of the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District responded to reports of gunfire and found Souder suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
