On January 13, 2019, at around 1:16 am, Alexis Washington, a 23-year-old woman, was shot and killed in a vehicle in the Unit block of Forrester Street, SW, Washington, D.C. Another victim, 20-year-old Zyair Bradley, was also found in the same vehicle, both suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The two were later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
