On February 25, 2019, Georgette Goodman was shot and killed at approximately 6:23 PM in the 4700 block of First Street, Southwest Washington, D.C. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the scene after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers discovered Goodman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
