On January 5, 2019, Regina Bowman was killed in a tragic incident at her residence on Ely Place, Southeast Washington, D.C. At approximately 6:15 a.m., the Metropolitan Police Department and DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to a residential fire at the 3300 block of Ely Place.
