Authorities believe Davis was killed sometime between the evening of February 28, 2002, when she was last seen
entering the motel around 6:30 p.m., and the morning of March 1st. Despite the passage of time, no arrests have ever been made in connection with her murder, and the case has grown cold. No suspects have been publicly identified by law enforcement.
The Metropolitan Police Department continues to seek information from the public that could lead to a breakthrough in the case. A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for Tracey Renee Davis's death.
