In the summer of 2025, a domestic dispute in Southeast Washington, D.C. ended in a tragic loss of life. On the evening of July 12th, police responded to a call for a shooting at a residence on the 4600 block of G Street. Inside the home, they discovered the bodies of 38-year-old Tiffany Montgomery and 43-year-old Patrick Cockrell Jr. Both individuals had sustained gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
