On August 29, 2005, at approximately 5:15 AM, Gloria Banks was stabbed to death in the 1900 block of 14th Street, Northwest, Washington, D.C. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to reports of an attack in the area and found Banks with multiple stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
