On a tragic night in Birmingham, Alabama, the life of 21-year-old Anitra Holloman was cut short in a hail of gunfire. On September 21, 2024, Holloman was among a crowd of people outside the Hush Lounge in the city's Five Points South entertainment district when multiple shooters unleashed a barrage of bullets. The attack, believed to be a targeted and possibly a murder-for-hire plot, resulted in the deaths of three other individuals and left seventeen people wounded.
