On September 21, 2024, 21-year-old Anitra Holloman was among four individuals fatally shot in a mass shooting in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. in the Five Points South Entertainment District, specifically in the 2000 block of Magnolia Avenue South.
