In a tragic turn of events that shook the community of a downtown Birmingham senior living facility, Roosevelt Walker, a 66-year-old male, was found deceased on September 5, 2024. The discovery was made at the Freedom Manor Apartments, a residence for individuals 62 and older, where both he and the man responsible for his death lived.
